About Me & My Music
Welcome!
I am a retired research scientist who worked at the Grumman Aerospace Corporation on Long Island in New York, developing advanced techniques in image generation. For nearly fifty years I have pursued my passion for music composition. While at Harvard I studied elective courses covering melody, harmony and counterpoint. I began my composing with two musical comedies under the tutelage of Angelo Musolino, an accomplished composer and arranger, and over the years I wrote many pop and country songs. In retirement I have expanded my musical studies to arranging and orchestration, once more with Professor Musolino. As a member of the Huntington Men's Chorus I am expanding my musical endeavors to TTBB arranging.
I greatly enjoy celebrating the triumph of the human spirit in my music. "Our American Heritage" is a tribute to the individuals whose courage and sacrifice gave us the nation we have today. "Survival: The History of the Jews" is a tribute to the long suffering and perseverance of the Jewish people.
I compose using Finale software and the Garritan Personal Orchestra library. My goal is to have my music enjoyed and performed. I have had performances of my work by the Adelphi University Pops and the Babylon Grade School Symphonic Band.
I would be glad to provide scores of my music (in Finale or PDF files) for any one interested.
