America is a shining example of triumph of the human spirit. “Our American Heritage” is my personal tribute of appreciation to the individuals whose courage and sacrifice gave me this wonderful country. When we study history we focus on events, often overlooking the personal stories behind them. To build this nation many individuals took great risks and suffered great pain and loss. Pilgrims braved stormy seas, pioneers crossed endless prairies, soldiers died, and immigrants struggled to make a new life in a strange land. “Our American Heritage” is an attempt to help the listener feel American history.
